Eleven solid platforms create every type of guitar amplifier, from famous tube combos to vintage and modern stacks. There are also several original BOSS amps, including a high-gain Brown type derived from the Katana series. All the amps are complemented by Celestion Digital IR, giving you immediate access to complete tones in every aspect. If you prefer to use IR cab files from your collection, you can load them into the pedal via USB-C and a dedicated app.
Instant sound creation
With the intuitive interface of the IR-2, you'll be ready to play in seconds. Simply select the type of amp and modify the sound using the well-known amp-style controls. Then, use the Ambience knob to achieve natural spaciousness and depth if desired. You can connect your other pedals to the input of the IR-2, just as you would with an amplifier. If you want to take it further, use the send/return loop to connect modulation, delay, and reverb effects in the chain after the amp sound. The TRS return jack supports stereo operation, allowing you to pass stereo effects to the audio outputs of the IR-2.
