Boss JB-2 Angry Driver

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of its compact pedals, BOSS and JHS Pedals have joined forces in a historic creative collaboration between two industry leaders. Leveraging BOSS's classic compact design, the JB-2 Angry Driver combines the sounds of the iconic BOSS BD-2 Blues Driver with those of the renowned Angry Charlie from JHS Pedals.

Working closely together, these two innovators in the guitar pedal industry developed an entirely new combined circuit with a refined sound and performance perfectly optimized to offer two distortion modes.

The JB-2 Angry Driver features three knobs with two concentric rings that allow independent control of distortion, tone, and level for each type of overdrive.

Through a six-position mode selector, you can use each overdrive independently or combine them in series or parallel configurations. With the ability to blend the highly expressive tones of the medium and low distortion from the Blues Driver with the aggressive rock voice of the Angry Charlie in any combination, the JB-2 Angry Driver offers unbeatable tonal range and versatility in a single overdrive pedal.

• Introducing a new overdrive pedal featuring an extensive sound palette, developed in collaboration between BOSS and JHS Pedals. This pedal combines the tones of the BOSS BD-2 Blues Driver and the Angry Charlie from JHS Pedals.
• It features three knobs with two concentric rings, providing independent control over distortion, tone, and level for every type of overdrive. The mode selector allows you to choose between individual overdrive types, two series connections to layer effects, or a parallel connection.
• Additionally, there is a mode that lets you select the BOSS and JHS overdrives using the built-in footswitch. An external switch jack is available for controlling the pedal's operating modes, along with bypass capabilities using an optional footswitch for effect selection.
• The multicolor LED indicator displays the BOSS mode in blue, the JHS mode in red, and both modes together in purple. This product comes with a 5-year BOSS warranty.
