Description:
Epiphone presents a commemorative model of the blues legend B.B. King. This stunning semi-acoustic guitar is based on the instrument used by Mr. King, famously named "Lucille." A guitar that accompanied B.B. King throughout his career, until his passing in 2015.
This is a traditional semi-acoustic, but with some unique features: it boasts a maple neck paired with a very smooth ebony fingerboard. The bridge is an Epiphone LockTone Tune-o-matic, complemented by a TP-6 tailpiece with a precision tuning system.
Additionally, the instrument is characterized by the absence of classic “f” holes, a feature that not only makes the instrument unique aesthetically but also helps to reduce unwanted feedback.
A guitar that allows for seamless transitions from Blues to Jazz to Rock, thanks in part to the presence of the legendary Varitone control.
In particular, this version in Bone White finish has been produced in a limited run for the European market.
