Description:
1968 was a transitional year for Fender amplifiers, which retained their traditional tone while showcasing a new vibrant look, characterized by a silver front panel and an aluminum grille.
The Princeton Reverb has always been the perfect amplifier, both in size and power, for use in a band setting or in the recording studio. This version is technically distinguished by a modified circuit that adds versatility, making it easier to push the amplifier into overdrive.
Its 12W of power is generated by two 6V6 Groove Tube™ valves, three 12AX7 preamp tubes, one 12AT7, and a 10" Celestion® TEN 30 speaker. The sound is the classic Fender tone: you can achieve the iconic crystal-clear and defined Fender cleans, or "Fat" tones and overdrive that are perfect for Blues and Rock. With the second channel, you can explore more aggressive sounds.
Completing this stunning amplifier are the spring reverb and tube vibrato, selectable on a separate channel.
