Description:
For musicians who appreciate the charm of the past combined with contemporary features, Fender has created the Vintera '60s Telecaster Modified.
With its blend of classic looks and modern specifications, this guitar is the perfect instrument for the guitarist seeking tradition in a contemporary format.
The pickup set designed for this "Modified" version of the Vintera '60s Telecaster features a classic Telecaster output, but with a higher gain. The special S-1 switching circuitry also allows for more "nasal" tones by out-of-phase one of the two single-coils, while the 4-position selector enables even greater output by wiring the pickups in series, facilitating amplifier saturation.
The neck with a Modern "C" profile is paired with a Pau Ferro fingerboard with a 9.5" radius and 21 medium-jumbo frets, all designed to provide a modern feel.
The 3-Saddle American Vintage Strings-Through-Body Tele bridge is of excellent quality and ensures the instrument has both twang and sustain.
