Produced in only 100 units and created in collaboration with the legendary Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett, the Gibson Custom Kirk Hammett Raven emerges from the skilled hands of the luthiers at the Gibson Custom Shop in Bozeman, Montana, as an exclusive creation designed to embody the antithesis of the historic Gibson Hummingbird.

While the Hummingbird has always been synonymous with light, warmth, and harmony, the Raven represents its dark and mysterious side, transforming traditional Gibson elegance into a bolder aesthetic rich in symbolism. The design, inspired by the raven, perfectly reflects Kirk Hammett's imaginative vision. The top is made of solid Sitka spruce, paired with a solid mahogany back and sides, while the neck, also made of mahogany, features a comfortable "Rounded" profile.

The electronics consist of an L.R. Baggs Element VTC +4, an amplification system that combines an under-saddle pickup with a preamplifier featuring elegantly integrated volume and tone controls inside the soundhole.
