Vibrant and powerful, the Electromatic Center Block is designed to produce the iconic Gretsch sound even at high volume and gain levels, without the issues of feedback. The G5622T Electromatic Center Block Double-Cut features a laminated maple body with a spruce center block: this technical solution gives the instrument remarkable dynamics, as well as essential resistance to feedback.

In terms of electronics, it is equipped with a pair of Black Top Broad’Tron™ pickups that deliver a bright, dynamic, and articulate tone. The instrument is versatile in both tone and controls, thanks to the Treble Bleed circuit, Master Volume control, independent Volume controls, and the classic 3-way selector switch.

This instrument embodies the entire Gretsch tradition, enhanced by technical solutions that align with modern and distorted sounds.
