The Marshall DSL series is one of the best-selling lines in the brand's history, thanks to its quality and affordable price. For 2018, the English company has decided to refresh this series by adding some truly interesting technical features.

First and foremost, there is an adjustable power setting, allowing for dynamic sound quality at all volume levels: this is achieved by regulating the actual amount of current flowing through the tubes, rather than deactivating some of them.

Another intriguing technical detail is the Emulated Output. In collaboration with Softube, Marshall has designed headphone and Line Out outputs for the DSL series that provide an exceptionally realistic sound.

Lastly, there are independent Master Volume controls for the channels, built-in reverb, and a Resonance control (excluding the DSL1/DSL5 models).
