Description:
The Martin Custom Shop doesn't only mean "customisation". A Martin Custom Shop instrument is made with the best materials and with most advanced construction techniques.
The result are instruments that leave you speechless for their power, resonance and dynamism.
This Martin Custom Shop OM-42 VTS Cocobolo features an Orchestra Model shape combined with a unique selection of materials. It features a back and sides made of Cocobolo, a material that, compared to Indian rosewood, offers greater tonal complexity with deep and powerful bass and clear, bright highs. It also has a top made of artificially aged "Premium" Sitka spruce, using the VTS (Vintage Tone System) technique to enhance its tonal qualities.
Thanks to the custom short scale the guitar feels comfortable in the hands, easy to play. Tone is balanced, with great resonance and sound projection. A perfect tool for the fingerstyle guitarist.
