We cannot overstate the power and the punch of the BG808 Series. Within the smaller shape lies a mighty bass response and a focussed projection, ideally suited for the recording studio. Since 1978, the 808 series has stood the test of time and is now available in several different tonewood configurations.

The EBG808L has a soundboard of "A" Grade Western Red Cedar, Queensland Walnut back and sides, and a Queensland Maple neck. The bridge is Rosewood, as is the fingerboard. The outer binding is ivory with a mosaic soundhole rosette.
