Description:

The MXR FOD Drive delivers the overdrive power of two amplifier stacks in a single housing. Professionals and guitarists in search of the perfect sound have been combining amplifiers on stage and in the studio for years to unlock new tonal palettes to explore.

Thanks to the MXR engineering team, you can recreate that experience straight from your pedalboard. The MXR team got their hands on two legendary, highly customized guitar amplifiers, enjoyed some glorious sonic bliss, and then dissected them for careful analysis. One amplifier was modified for a "scooped" High Gain saturation, while the other was modified for a cutting midrange Crunch.

Each channel has its own Gain and Volume controls. The Blend control allows you to set the mix of the two signals. The Tone control adjusts the EQ for the overall output signal, while the Scoop selector lets you choose between flat scoops, Mid Scoop, or Mid Boost.
