This Dreadnought features all the essential characteristics that make an acoustic guitar truly great, all at a decidedly reasonable price.

The Academy series was designed with beginner guitarists in mind, so the goal was to create a comfortable and high-performing instrument.

On a technical level, the guitar boasts a solid Sitka spruce top paired with a Sapele back and sides. The armrest allows for a comfortable grip, while the short scale length of 24-7/8", a nut width of 11/16", and the lighter string gauge make the fretboard soft and fast.

The Taylor ES-B electronics come equipped with simple and intuitive controls, as well as a chromatic tuner with an LED display.
