The construction is traditional. A solid block of wood runs through the hollow body to provide better sustain and ensure resistance to feedback, allowing the instrument to reproduce a wide range of tones, from soft jazz sounds to the more aggressive characteristics typical of solid bodies.
The fingerboard is made of ebony, while the top is flamed maple, all combined with elegant gold hardware.
