Like its younger sibling, the AC-3 Acoustic Creator is an advanced direct box with essential DI functions that help you achieve great sound, no matter where you perform. The AC-3 features an effects generator, stereo outputs, and a compressor.

With these capabilities, along with the same high-quality preamplifier and a 3-band equalizer, the AC-3 is the perfect all-in-one acoustic toolkit for live and studio performances. The high-quality preamp boosts your signal and helps restore your true acoustic sound. Additionally, its 3-band EQ allows for quick adjustments to enhance your tone. To add depth and color to the sound, the AC-3 also offers the finest effects that Zoom has ever designed for acoustic instruments. Choose from 9 different effects, including delay, chorus, and reverb, each with adjustable parameters to optimize your sound.

With 16 original guitar presets, the AC-3 captures the sonic characteristics of many types of guitars and body shapes. You can select from dreadnought, upright bass, nylon strings, 12-string, and more. Simply select your preferred guitar, then choose between piezo or magnetic pickups. At this point, the AC-3 is ready to accurately reproduce and amplify the sound of your guitar. The AC-3 comes with 15 additional presets for target guitars, which can be used to match your guitar's sound more precisely. For example, when using a Martin D-18 dreadnought, you can select the Dreadnought original preset and the D-Eighteen target preset to better match the unique sound of your instrument. Or, if you're playing a square-shoulder guitar, select the Square Shoulder original preset, then use the Humming Bird target preset to recreate your sound even more accurately.
