Charvel Joe Duplantier Signature Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 2 HH E Mahogany

The Gojira quartet has established itself as one of the most influential avant-metal bands. The band's leader, Joe Duplantier, chose to collaborate with Charvel to create his Signature model.

This solid-body guitar is designed as the perfect instrument for the Heavy Metal guitarist. The San Dimas Style 2 features a mahogany body, a material that gives the guitar a powerful attack and great sustain, an ebony fretboard, and a pair of DiMarzio pickups with a warm and defined tone.

DiMarzio has long been a leader in the pickup market, and Joe Duplantier specifically selected a pair of DiMarzio pickups for his Signature instrument: the neck pickup is a DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary, known for its dynamic and warm tone while remaining well-defined. At the bridge, we find a DiMarzio Fortitude, similar to the PAF 36th Anniversary but with a slightly higher output.

In terms of neck specifications, we find high-performance features: a mahogany neck with a graphite reinforcement, a compound radius from 12" to 16", and a 22 jumbo fret ebony fretboard.
