Eko Guitars BAIO

The BAIO by Eko Guitars is a complete and portable multi-effects pedal, perfect for your guitar. With nine types of integrated preamps, eight Impulse Responses, and included effects, you will have the ability to fully manage your sound. Use it as an audio interface with your PC or smartphone and take advantage of Bluetooth to play along with your backing tracks.

Measuring just 16 cm in length, 6 cm in width, and weighing 260 g, the BAIO is an all-in-one multi-effects system that offers all the essential features and functionalities for the modern guitarist. Easy to transport and highly durable thanks to its metal chassis, it allows for total control over your sound.

With nine selectable and controllable preamplification types using the Tone and Drive knobs, you will have access to a variety of tonalities ranging from crystal-clear cleans to heavier distortions. The modulation section, accessible via the Mod control, allows you to add chorus and phaser effects; delay, with controls for time, feedback, mix, and reverb, can be adjusted using the Delay, FB, Mix, and Rev knobs, respectively. The IR knob lets you choose from eight Impulse Responses specifically created for BAIO by Massimo Varini, who selected and adapted some of the best IRs from ChopTones. From Blues to Metal, you will have the opportunity to use a selection of amplifiers, cabinets, speakers, and microphones specifically combined to provide a realistic and convincing sound, both live and in the studio. With the Out control, you manage the output volume, and using the three footswitch buttons, you can switch from Preset mode for changing presets to Live mode, which allows you to manage IR/Rev, Delay/Mod, and Preamp separately. With the footswitches, you can also activate Bluetooth, enabling you to play your favorite backing tracks through an external device, or turn on the built-in tuner, which can also completely mute the output signal.

The rear panel features two standard jack terminals for input and output, a power switch, a USB port for powering the pedal and charging the battery, a connection to the computer for use as an audio interface, and loading new IRs. The Phone jack allows you to connect a special cable to your smartphone, enabling you to use BAIO as an audio interface on your phone as well. There is also a headphone output that lets you listen to the instrument's signal and any Bluetooth playback simultaneously.

The Eko BAIO software, available for both PC and Mac, allows you to manage all the functions of the BAIO: you can load and save external IRs into the eight available slots; edit the three presets by modifying every parameter (gain, tone, effects, IR...) and save changes in the three available PRESETS; and restore both the IRs and factory presets.
