Description:
The Bass Machine BASS9 polyphonic pedal transforms a guitar into nine different basses without requiring special pickups, MIDI modifications, or any alterations to the instrument.
It is based on the same technology that powers all the pedals in the EHX 9 series, such as the award-winning Tape Replay Machine MEL9, but also features a new optimized algorithm for transposing down one to two octaves with enhanced dynamics and superior tracking.
The pedal is equipped with independent Effect and Dry volume controls, allowing guitarists to precisely adjust their mix at the Effect output jack, in addition to a always-active Dry output jack that emits the input signal with unity gain.
Controls 1 and 2 are designed to adjust specific parameters for each of the nine programs. For example, in Precision mode, CTRL 1 controls the secondary octaves while CTRL 2 emulates the original tone control of the instrument.
The Bass9 comes with a standard EHX 9.6DC200mA power supply.
