Using the same algorithm as the renowned EHX V256 Vocoder, the Iron Lung Vocoder is designed as an effect that allows for smooth access to vocal manipulation. The Iron Lung features controls that enable precise adjustments to achieve the desired sound. The Gender Bender control allows for the modification of vocal characteristics, making the timbre more masculine or feminine. The Tone control adds definition and brightness to the sound. The Iron Lung can be connected to a microphone via an XLR connection, while a 3-position switch allows for optimal balancing of the input signal.
