EVH Striped Series 5150

When Eddie Van Halen conceived his famous 5150™ guitar with red, white, and black stripes in 1984, he could never have imagined the thousands of replicas it would inspire. Today, EVH proudly presents a new model of the Striped Series 5150 based on his original instrument, featuring the iconic Striped 5150 pattern and a setup with a single humbucker pickup.

The Striped Series 5150 features a basswood body paired with a Quartersawn maple neck with a comfortable Modified "C" profile, a satin urethane finish, and a unique "Hockey Stick" headstock. The compound radius maple fingerboard, ranging from 12" to 16", offers extremely fast playability and is equipped with 22 jumbo frets, black Dot inlays, and a convenient truss rod adjustment at the end of the fingerboard.

The 5150 is equipped with a custom-designed EVH® Wolfgang® Alnico 2 humbucker pickup that delivers the perfect amount of power and articulation with a sweet sustain. An EVH Low Friction volume control, designed for Eddie, ensures unparalleled performance and a smooth volume taper for extremely fluid volume nuances.

Featuring an EVH-branded Floyd Rose® "Dive Bomb" certified bridge and a patented EVH D-Tuna® for instant tuning changes from drop-D to standard, the EVH Striped Series 5150 promises high-performance capabilities.
