Produced in Corona, California, the American Performer Telecaster embodies all the quality and feel one expects from a true Fender.

Specifically, these instruments feature the new Yosemite™ Single-Coil pickups, designed to deliver a rich and expressive tone. With flat-staggered pole pieces, the Yosemite pickups are versatile and boast a remarkable output.

Noteworthy is the presence of a Greasebucket™ tone circuit on the bridge pickup, which allows for cutting high frequencies without adding low frequencies as the tone controls are gradually turned down. This technical enhancement prevents the sound alteration that typically occurs with traditional circuits.

Lastly, other modern technical features include the "Modern C" neck profile and a smooth, easy-playing 22-jumbo fret fingerboard.
