Fender Custom 1960 Stratocaster HSS Heavy Relic Masterbuilt Ron Thorn

It is a guitar so wild to be tamed, an instrument so comfortable that plays fast and sweet. It is an alchemical mix of several small details that make the difference.

This Stratocaster HSS was built by the Senior Masterbuilder Ron Thorn. Ron, for those unfamiliar with him, is a real "nerd" luthiery. A guitar artisan who does not leave the slightest detail to chance, a builder capable of making amazing instruments from every point of view. A skilled inlayer, an innovative designer, Ron Thorn's performance are often unmatched also on great classics such as this Stratocaster.

A guitar which features modern specs, starting from the Modern "C" neck profile, Jumbo frets, compound radius 9.5" - 12", roasted maple neck, rolled fingerboard edges, RSD Stratocaster Tremolo, ending to the S-1 Switch to split the humbucker.

Electronics features an HSS configuration, Vintage Modified #2 wiring, Master Volume with Treble Bleed, Fender Custom Handwound Ancho Poblano Single Coil and a Seymour Duncan SH-6 Duncan Distortion in bridge position.
