Fender Custom 1960 Stratocaster Relic Masterbuilt Jason Smith - FASNB

A Masterbuilt instrument, for those who have held one at least once, is something that transcends the already exceptional experience of a Fender Custom Shop Teambuilt guitar.

It is a guitar that is almost wild in its resonance, an instrument on which your hands glide effortlessly due to its comfort. It is an alchemical mix of small technical details that make all the difference.

This Stratocaster was crafted by Senior Masterbuilder Jason Smith. For those who may not know him, Jason is the son of Dan Smith, a key figure in Fender's resurgence in the 1980s and one of the founding fathers of the Fender Custom Shop. He also spent five years apprenticing under John English. Today, he is a highly regarded Masterbuilder, known for his exceptional craftsmanship as well as the exquisite relic work present on his instruments. He is the luthier chosen by artists of the caliber of John 5, Michael Landau, Flea, Josh Klinghoffer, Geddy Lee, Steve Harris, Reggie Hamilton, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Neon Trees.

This is an amazing instrument made with selected materials, lightweight and resonant, equipped with a modern electronic configuration featuring Strat Blander wiring with Tone Saver, characterized by incredible resonance and dynamic range, Medium Jumbo / 6150 frets, and a Mid 60's Oval "C" neck profile, alongside a selected rosewood fingerboard.

The electronics consist of a set of Fender Custom Hand-wound 60/63 Stratocaster Single Coil pickups, with the middle pickup being RWRP.
