Fender Custom 50's Stratocaster Roasted Ash Relic Masterbuilt Austin Macnutt - BTB

A Masterbuilt instrument, for those who have held one at least once, transcends the already exceptional experience of a Fender Custom Shop Teambuilt guitar.

This guitar is almost wild in its resonance, an instrument where your hands glide effortlessly due to its comfort. It is an alchemical blend of small technical details that make all the difference.

This Stratocaster was crafted by Austin MacNutt, one of the recently hired Masterbuilders, who comes with an impressive background: his arrival at Fender, where he worked on projects including the replica of the Jerry Garcia Alligator Stratocaster—one of the most expensive replicas in recent years—was preceded by an extensive apprenticeship at Thorn Guitars, the luthier guitar brand of former Senior Masterbuilder Ron Thorn.

This instrument is made with selected materials, boasting remarkable resonance and featuring a modern electronics configuration with a Blender. It is characterized by a single-piece "Roasted" ash body, Jumbo / 6100 frets, a 12" radius, a Hardtail bridge, and a Large "C" neck profile.

Finally, the electronics consist of a set of Fender Custom Josefina Campos Hand-Wound Fat 50's Stratocaster pickups.

The tone is warm yet defined, full-bodied but with a fast and precise attack, creating a magnificent and balanced combination of qualities.
