The Fender Custom Limited Edition CuNiFe Telecaster Custom Heavy Relic was first introduced as a limited edition during the Fall Dealer Event of 2022.
The selected lightweight ash body is paired with a "roasted" maple neck featuring a Quartersawn cut and a large "C" profile.
The AAA rosewood fingerboard, with a 9.5" radius, is equipped with 21 Narrow Tall / 6105 frets, a configuration that ensures precision and playing comfort.
The electronics consist of a Fender Custom Shop Wide Range CuNiFe pickup at the neck, characterized by a rich, warm, and three-dimensional tone, and a Fender Custom Shop Hand-wound ’51 Nocaster pickup at the bridge, capable of delivering a bright, cutting, and dynamic sound.
This Telecaster satisfies those who, in addition to the classic "twang," desire the warmth of a humbucker, with a balanced dynamic response across all frequencies and versatility that allows it to cover styles ranging from country to rock, while maintaining clarity and definition even at higher distortion levels.
