Fender Custom Limited Edition Reverse Esquire Heavy Relic - AWBL

Created as a special edition for the Fender Custom Shop Mid-Year Dealer Event 2022, the Fender Custom Limited Edition Reverse Esquire Heavy Relic blends classic vintage specifications with contemporary construction solutions aimed at enhancing overall comfort during performances.

The body, crafted from two pieces of selected lightweight ash, is paired with a maple neck featuring a Rift Sawn cut and a '59 Esquire "C" profile.

The fingerboard is equipped with 21 Narrow Tall / 6105 frets and a compound radius ranging from 7.25" to 9.5", a configuration that combines vintage feel with increased smoothness and precision during more modern playing styles.

In terms of electronics, it features a Fender Custom Handwound 50-51 Blackguard Single Coil at the bridge, on an Esquire Cocked Wah circuit, which allows for three distinct tonal configurations via the selector: a fixed High-Pass filter that simulates the effect of a wah pedal half-open, the direct signal from the pickup bypassing the tone control, and finally, the pickup with traditional active tone control.
