A Masterbuilt instrument, for those who have kept it in their arms at least once, is something beyond the already execptional experience of a Fender Custom Shop Teambuilt.
It is a guitar so wild to be tamed, an instrument so comfortable that plays fast and sweet. It is an alchemical mix of several small details that make the difference.
This Stratocaster was built by the expert ands of Todd Krause. Tod, for those unfamiliar with him, was around Fender Custom Shop since 1997 and he was chosen as favourite builder by artists such as Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, David Gilmour, Robbie Robertson, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Robin Trower, Roger Waters.
The guitar is really impressive for its resonance and its punch. The materials are extremely selected. We find a sort for lightweight alder body matched with a plain grain maple neck with 60's Oval "C" neck profile and 21 Narrow Tall / 6105 frets with a compound 7.25" - 12" radius.
Electronics features a set of Fender Custom Hand-wound Fat 50's Single Coil with the middle one RWRP, on a Vintage Stratocaster wiring.
