The alder body produces a sound with a rich attack, perfect for "grunge" rhythms and "power chords." The short scale contributes to lower tension on the strings, making the instrument remarkably easy to play, while the rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25" radius is extremely comfortable for chord playing.

The electronics consist of a set of Fender Kurt Cobain Jagstang pickups, featuring a single coil at the neck and a humbucker at the bridge, capable of recreating Kurt Cobain's signature sounds, thanks in part to controls that allow for out-of-phase tones.
