The alder body produces a sound rich in attack, perfect for "grunge" rhythms and "power chords." The shorter scale contributes to lower tension on the strings, making the instrument remarkably easy to play, while the rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25" radius is incredibly comfortable for chord work.

The electronics feature a set of Fender Kurt Cobain Jagstang pickups, consisting of a single coil at the neck and a humbucker at the bridge, capable of recreating Kurt Cobain's signature tones, thanks in part to controls that allow for out-of-phase sounds.
