Description:
The Fender Paramount PD-220E is available in versions with a solid spruce or solid mahogany top, paired with solid mahogany back and sides. The bracing features an asymmetrical "X" pattern designed to achieve the best possible resonance and tonal quality.
A new Sonitone Plus electronics system, developed by Fender and Fishman, ensures a full and balanced plugged-in sound, while the controls mounted inside the soundhole preserve the traditional aesthetics of the instrument.
Aesthetic enhancements over the previous Paramount series include "Snowflakes" pearloid inlays on the fingerboard, binding and rosette with a "Feathered Checkered" pattern, and a Black or Tiger Stripe pickguard.
The Fender Paramount PD-220E Dreadnought is also equipped with an ovangkol bridge and fingerboard, a mahogany neck, and a bone nut and saddle.
A Fender Deluxe Black Hardshell case is included.
