An innovator and undeniably an influencer when it comes to effect-laden sounds, Kevin Shields awakened Fuzz tones in the '80s and '90s that the world had never heard before.

His favorite pedal is the Fender Blender, renowned for its dynamic response and unmistakable Fuzz tone. Now, through over four years of co-development, Fender and Shields have resurrected this legendary '70s Fuzz, updating it with a range of contemporary features to create the brand-new Fender Shields Blender.

The Fender Shields Blender echoes the tone of Shields' vintage Fender Blender from the '70s, thanks to the meticulous manual tracing of the circuit from his personal Fuzz Box.

Surrounding this vintage circuit are entirely new ways to control and blend the original fuzz voice, all designed with performance in mind using four user-friendly footswitches.

Two selectable Fuzz channels, each with dedicated Level controls, allow for blending the Fuzz voice with the Clean signal or merging the Fuzz voice with a robust octave-down Fuzz, while the SAG footswitch introduces Sputtering and Ducking effects like never before.
