The Fender Telecaster Mike Campbell Red Dog Stories Collection is part of the renowned Fender Stories Collection, an exclusive line honoring musicians who have made a mark in music history through their use of customized instruments.

This model is inspired by Mike Campbell's legendary 1972 Telecaster®, famously nicknamed "Red Dog." Campbell purchased the instrument in Florida from a former guitar student; it was already equipped with a Bigsby vibrato and a powerful built-in boost, the iconic "Destruct" circuit.

The body, made of alder, is paired with a one-piece maple neck featuring a '70s "C" profile.

The fingerboard, equipped with 21 vintage frets and a 7.25" radius, offers a playability that embodies vintage style.

The electronics consist of a set of two Fender Mike Campbell Red Dog Middle Humbuckers and a Fender Mike Campbell Red Dog Telecaster® single coil at the bridge. This configuration ensures a wide tonal versatility, perfect for both rhythm and lead parts. Completing the package is the renowned "Destruct" Boost circuit, the same one found on Mike Campbell's original, capable of providing a gain boost of up to 34 dB.

Additional features include Fender® Vintage "F" Stamped tuners and a Fender/Bigsby® B5 Bridge and Tailpiece, which allows for vibrato effects while maintaining optimal tuning stability.
