This original 1945 / 1946 J-45 is a perfect example of what made this model legendary. An instrument with an insane resonance, with a powerful bass considering that the back and sides are made of mahogany, with an indescribable definition.

The top is made of solid spruce, while the back and sides are made of solid mahogany. The neck is not gigantic and houses the truss rod. The earlier production instruments did not have a truss rod, due to war restrictions.

A great opportunity to own a true piece of history.

Descrizione condizioni:	Considering its venerable age, the instrument is in good condition. There are no problems in terms of playability and functionality, indeed it is surprising that the original mechanics are still in place and in perfect working order. There are no serious problems in terms of structure. However, there are a couple of cracks on the top and one on the side, completely under control and stable, which could be glued and reinforced during restoration (recommended but not essential). A non-original case is included. The frets are the original ones, while the installed nut is not the original one (original supplied). There is a jack output, without any electronics connected, probably installed as an attachment for the shoulder strap.
