Introduced in 1990, the '57 Classic produces a warm and full tone with a balanced response, delivering that classic humbucker™ PAF crunch associated with Gibson. It is made with the same specifications as the original PAFs, including Alnico 2 magnets, nickel-plated poles, maple spacers, and vintage-style two-conductor braided wiring.
The '57 Classic humbucker utilizes balanced coils for a more precise and creamy tone, along with excellent noise cancellation. Additionally, the '57 Classics are waxed to minimize the potential for feedback.
This set is paired with its natural companion, the '57 Classic Plus, which features more windings and is designed for bridge positioning.
