Gibson 70's Flying V - AN

The Gibson 70's Flying V incorporates the characteristics introduced by Gibson during the 1970s, a period in which this model solidified its aesthetic and sonic identity. An evolution of a design that originated in the late 1950s, the Flying V is distinguished by its body shape and a configuration oriented towards strong and direct tones, in line with the musical language of the era.

The body is constructed from mahogany and retains the classic "V" shape, which provides full access to the higher positions of the fretboard. The neck, also made of mahogany and glued to the body, features a SlimTaper profile that promotes comfort and ease of playability across its entire range.

The rosewood fretboard is equipped with 22 frets and a 12" radius, offering a natural feel during performances, making it ideal for extended playing sessions.

The electronics consist of a pair of uncovered Gibson 70's Tribute pickups, wired with Orange Drop® capacitors. This combination delivers a full and defined tone, with good presence in the mid frequencies and a dynamic response suitable for both clean sounds and more aggressive distortions.

Completing the setup are the fixed bridge with stopbar, sealed tuners, and chrome hardware, elements that ensure tuning stability and overall reliability.
