Gibson 70's Flying V Exclusive - DW

The Gibson 70's Flying V incorporates the characteristics introduced by Gibson during the 1970s, a period in which this model solidified its aesthetic and sonic identity. An evolution of a design that originated in the late 1950s, the Flying V is distinguished by its body shape and a configuration aimed at bold and direct sound, in line with the musical language of the era.

The body is constructed from mahogany and retains the classic "V" shape, which allows full access to the higher positions of the fingerboard. The neck, also made of mahogany and glued to the body, features a SlimTaper profile, which enhances comfort and playability across its entire range.

The fingerboard, made of rosewood, is equipped with 22 frets and a 12" radius, thus providing a natural feel during play, ideal for extended sessions.

The electronics consist of a pair of uncovered Gibson 70's Tribute pickups, wired with Orange Drop® capacitors. This combination delivers a full and defined tone, with good presence in the mid frequencies and a dynamic response suitable for both clean sounds and more aggressive distortions.

Completing the specifications are the fixed bridge with stopbar, sealed tuners, and chrome hardware, elements that ensure tuning stability and overall reliability.
