Description:
The Semi-Hollow guitars produced by the Gibson Custom Shop are back in the catalog, and this new Historic Collection represents the pinnacle of historical accuracy: the goal has been achieved through the analysis, testing, and study of original specimens.
The skilled hands of the luthiers at the Gibson Custom Shop have meticulously reproduced every detail, including the colors, dimensions, and curves of the original instruments, which command exorbitant prices in the vintage market.
The result is an instrument that, when held and played, offers a truly immersive experience.
Specifically, the replica of the 1959 ES-335 features the so-called "Mickey Mouse Ears," which are the rounded "ears" characteristic of the earliest ES-335 models, a Medium "C" profile neck, and, plastic parts and hardware that replicate the originals.
