The Gibson Custom Historic 1939 SJ-100 Murphy Lab Heavy Aged is a historically accurate reproduction of the rare Super Jumbo 100, produced by Gibson between 1939 and 1942. The top is crafted from "Thermally Aged" spruce, paired with solid mahogany back and sides, creating a warm and rich sound, further enhanced by the scalloped X-bracing, which gives the tone an authentically vintage character.

The two-piece maple neck is glued using animal glues and features a "Round" profile, providing a vintage feel with great stability and comfort during play.
