Crafted in the Gibson Custom Shop in Bozeman, Montana, the Gibson Custom Murphy Lab 1933 L-00 Light Aged is a faithful reinterpretation of the original 1933 model. Every detail has been meticulously attended to in order to capture the soul and aesthetics of the 1930s L-00, an instrument that stands out for its unmistakable look and its bright, distinctly “bluesy” tone.

The solid thermally-treated Sitka spruce top is paired with solid mahogany back and sides, while the mahogany neck features a comfortable "V" profile.

Thanks to its compact body and short 24.75" scale length, the Gibson Custom Murphy Lab 1933 L-00 Light Aged is distinguished by its intimate, direct, and surprisingly expressive tone.
