Description:
An instrument inspired by one of the stunning guitars featured in *"Slash – The Collection"*, specifically the one listed on page 298—the so-called "Olive Drab Wraptail."
This Gibson Custom Murphy Lab 1954 Les Paul Standard w/ Humbuckers M2M Ultra Light Aged is a special order created through the Made 2 Measure program of the Gibson Custom Shop, modeled after a 1954 Les Paul Standard with humbuckers and a wraparound bridge for massive attack and endless sustain.
At its core, it’s a 1954-spec guitar—solid mahogany body with no weight relief, carved maple top, chunky “C”-profile mahogany neck—but updated with a powerful set of humbuckers for enhanced tonal versatility.
As part of the Murphy Lab Collection, it features an ultra-thin nitrocellulose finish with Ultra Light Aging, designed to gracefully show the marks of time even on a brand-new instrument.
