Description:
This SG is a truly representative example of what can be achieved with the Gibson Custom Shop. We took the SG Custom model, one of the most captivating in the history of the Gibson catalog, removed the often superfluous middle pickup, and retained the prominent aesthetic features of the SG Custom. The entire instrument is then "drenched" in a beautiful and rare Pewter Sparkle finish. The result is a guitar with a unique look and a magnificent sound.
From a technical standpoint, the guitar features a single-block mahogany body, a mahogany neck with a long tenon joint and a Slim Taper profile, and a 22-fret ebony fingerboard.
The pickups are a pair of Gibson Custombuckers, which add a modern twist to the traditional PAF tones.
This instrument allows for a wide range of sounds, from defined and bright clean tones to powerful and aggressive distortions.
