Since its release in 1960, the Gibson Hummingbird has captivated thousands of guitarists with its warm, sweet, velvety tone and its unmistakable look.
This version introduced in 2024 features a back and sides made of rosewood, a material that emphasizes the bass and treble frequencies, resulting in a fuller and more powerful tone, albeit less defined compared to the traditional Hummingbird Standard with mahogany back and sides.
The electronics are the L.R. Baggs Element VTC, with Volume and Tone controls located inside the soundhole, capable of producing an amplified tone that is truly faithful and of exceptional quality.
