The Gibson Jackson Browne Signature Model A is an exceptional piece of craftsmanship, born from a collaboration between the renowned singer-songwriter and the master luthiers at the Gibson Montana Acoustic Custom Shop.
The design is inspired by the legendary Gibson Roy Smeck from the 1930s, a guitar highly favored by Browne for its powerful tone. The Model A combines vintage charm with the needs of the modern musician, characterized by a Deep Round Shoulders design, an especially wide fingerboard, and a 12-Fret construction for superior resonance.
The choice of woods reflects both the pursuit of the perfect timbre and a commitment to environmental sustainability: Adirondack Red Spruce, known for its power and clarity, is used for the top, while English walnut sourced from sustainable plantations is used for the back and sides.
The sound is powerful and rich, with remarkable volume.
The version presented here, the Model A, is equipped with the Trance Audio Amulet system. This is an electronics setup with dual contact transducers, powered by Phantom, which operates without any internal battery.
Each of the 100 Gibson Jackson Browne Signature Model A guitars produced is also signed by the artist Jackson Browne and master luthier Ren Ferguson.

The instrument is in excellent technical condition. It shows some marks on the body and on the top. It is equipped with the original electronics, but it is missing the external stereo preamp and the cable that were originally included. |
