Description:
The Gibson Les Paul Custom 70s marks the return of one of the most beloved and sought-after models by enthusiasts of the brand, faithfully capturing the characteristics of Les Pauls produced in the 1970s. After two decades of being available only through the Custom Shop, this version finally joins the Gibson USA lineup.
The mahogany body is paired with a three-piece maple top, a feature introduced in the 1970s to provide greater stability and brightness to the tone, along with a maple neck featuring a 70s profile.
The ebony fingerboard, with its 22 Medium Jumbo frets, offers smooth and comfortable playability, making it ideal for naturally tackling any musical style.
The electronics consist of a pair of Calibrated T-Type™ humbuckers, hand-wired with Orange Drop® capacitors, capable of delivering a powerful sound true to the Gibson spirit of the 1970s.
The set of Grover Rotomatic tuners, along with the famous Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, ensures absolute reliability, providing stable and lasting tuning even during the most intense sessions.
