Description:
The new Gibson Les Paul Standard is a return to its roots. The Les Paul Standard model is once again the traditional Les Paul, featuring all the technical details of the Golden Era.
Specifically, this version is inspired by the Les Pauls of the 1960s.
This guitar combines the classic mahogany body without weight relief with a top also made of mahogany. The neck features a 60's Slim Taper profile, which is slim and incredibly fast.
The rosewood fingerboard is adorned with "Acrylic Trapezoid" inlays, while the bridge is a classic ABR-1 Tune-o-matic.
The sound produced by a pair of BurstBucker 61R and BurstBucker 61T pickups possesses all the characteristics of the vintage Gibson tone from the early 1960s: defined and warm at the same time, rich in attack and with infinite sustain.
The electronics consist of 4 logarithmic potentiometers, Orange Drop capacitors, all hand-wired.
If you're looking for a "Les Paul like it used to be," this model is the right choice!
