Description:
Almost every blues guitarist and fan knows his name. Rich Robinson, Black Crowes founding member, has a great reputation for his guitarist skills and for his love for fine guitars.
The new Rich Robinson 1963 ES-335 features what everybody loves of an early 60's guitar: authentic faded cherry finish (named Sixties Cherry), creamy tone and a genuine Bigsby vibrato with the traditional "custom made" plate to cover the stopbar stud holes.
This instrument is dear to many great players and this reissue has been designed exactly the same of the original instrument: maple laminate body, solid center block for enhanced sustain, 1.711"-wide nut, cream binding. The pickup chosen for this reissue are a set of Burstbucker 1 and Burstbucker 2, able to recreate the original PAF tone.
The guitar is VOS treated, gently aged on the finish and on the hardware, to make it look just like an original instruments from the 60's, and comes with a brown hardshell case and a certificate of authenticity.
