Gibson Memphis 1964 ES-345TDC 2015 - SC

The Gibson Memphis 1964 ES-345 2015 is a nearly perfect recreation of the 1964 model with the original improvements of split parallelogram neck inlays, mono Variton circuit and stereo output.

The body shape features the slim taper cutaway, aniline dye neck filler, nylon nut, spruce bracing, hide glue neck joint and a pair of MHS humbucker with an Alnico III magnet for the neck and an Alnico II for the bridge.

A matched set of 550K potentiometers and Black Beauty capacitors add to this semi-hollowbody's authentic tone.

The Gibson Memphis 1964 ES-345TDC 2015 features a traditional three-ply Maple/Poplar/Maple body fitted with quartersawn Adirondack Spruce historically correct braces and a lightweight mahogany centre block. The neck is a one-piece Mahogany with a comfortable playable 1964 rounded “C” profile. This is matched with a 22-fret dark Rosewood fingerboard, fitted with the same style aged-cellulose split parallelogram inlays as the original model.

The Gibson 1964 ES-345TDC is fitted with a pair of PAF-style MHS Alnico III humbucker pickups designed to recreate the tones of the pickups installed to a number of Gibson models throughout the ‘50s and ‘60s.
