Today, the traditional combination of high output and bright tone of the P-90 is still regarded as one of the favorites. Familiarly known as the "Dogear," the P-90 remains the quintessential pickup that "cuts through the mix," adapting to any musical genre, from blues and rock to the softest jazz riffs.
It is also a perfect pickup for replacing vintage pickups, featuring two-conductor wiring with an outer shield and is fully waxed to eliminate any possibility of unwanted microphonic feedback.
This particular "Underwound" version is equipped with a lower output due to fewer windings.
