Description:

The Gibson SG Standard '61 is a return to its roots. It encapsulates all the specifications loved by guitarists around the world from the original SG of 1961.

Specifically, it features a Slim Taper neck profile that is very fast, and a neck-to-body joint that is positioned at the 22nd fret, making access to the higher frets extremely easy.

The pickups are Gibson BurstBucker 61R and BurstBucker 61T, vintage-style humbuckers that deliver a sound that is both warm and powerful. The traditional electronics are characterized by logarithmic potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors.

Notably, this "Exclusive" version boasts a rarely available finish, namely Aged Cherry, which immediately brings to mind the legendary SG used by Angus Young.
