Description:
Launched in 2003, the Songwriter combines the traditional bracing patterns of 1930s Gibson guitars with the original shape of a modern dreadnought, offering exceptional sound quality. The solid rosewood back and sides, paired with a solid Sitka spruce top, provide a full, rich, and balanced tone.
The cutaway body design ensures excellent access to the higher frets on the comfortable rounded profile neck with an ebony fingerboard. This version of the Songwriter undergoes a Custom treatment with aesthetic details inspired by the Les Paul™ Custom, including a "Ebony" nitrocellulose lacquer finish, "multi-ply" binding on the top and back, a Les Paul-style headstock featuring a Custom broken diamond inlay in mother-of-pearl, an ebony fingerboard with binding and "Custom Block" inlays in mother-of-pearl, and Grover® Gold Rotomatic® tuners.
Whether you are writing a new song or taking it to the stage, the Songwriter EC Custom is the perfect companion for making music.
