Description:
The Southern Jumbo is reknown for its proficiency to belt out country rhythms or acoustic blues leads. Original examples are among the most prized war-era flat-tops in today’s vintage market.
This Southern Jumbo picks up where those classic models left off and offers the specs available on the first Southern Jumbo from the 1945. We then find a Rosewood back and sides paired with a solid Sitka Spruce top: the sound is powerful, rich in low-medium frequencies and rich.
Then we find beautiful banner logo on headstock and vintage tuners with vintage open tuners.
This Southern Jumbo reissue has not been in production for a while and that's why it was made specifically for our store through the Made 2 Measure. Not only a great instrument but also a rare instrument!
